The mother had her own attatchment-identity issues. She very easily could have been coddling her daughter and putting her into balerina school because she failed as a balerina.
I would call dissasociative feug/identity (alter ego) for the halucination stuff though. Hollywood, unfortunatly, works in metaphors for alot of psych movies, so the scenes with said "halucinations" could have been her alter trying to break through. Think about the lipstick on the mirror in the begining. Did the other girl go into the bathroom and write it? Was Nina actualy dry heaving into the toilet? People with this disorder black out while their alter is in control, and it would be interesting to see if the color of the writing matched the color she stole from the dressing room. And the black swan part at the end; was that the same Nina from the entire movie? Or did that bad-ass attitude remind anyone else of the Lily projections?
Thats my rant. As far as the funny parts go, my favorite line in the whole movie was the director saying "That was me seducing you. It needs to be the other way around."

I'd really rather not give myself the win. I was going to talk to xi and duama about it and see what we're gonna do. As far as the rp, I'm already playing five characters, but I'm sure we can make something work. You focus on your health, we'll focus on the forum

lol, thats just bad parenting. If you've studied any amount of psych, or know anything about psychological disorders (expecially dissasotieative feug/ identity) Black swan will blow your brains all over that theatre like a 12 gauge. If not, its still an enjoyable psycho-thriller with a smidge of lesbian action. Just don't try to comprehend what's going on. It does get a little predictable, but only like 4 minutes in advance

Oh wow, ur not kidding xi. the new pokemon are fugly. The gator things are alright, but thats about it. I don't see why they havent created a pokemon mmo yet. It would be better than dropping ANOTHER spin off of red&blue every 3-4 years. Seriously, have those games realy changed THAT much since 1998? No... they havent. And they cold very easily do a mmo, there's only like 5 continents and 40 obtainable badges to keep everyone busy. And they're adding to it anyway. Might as well throw it all together.
As for digimon... I'm gonna agree with duama. The first season with Agumon (I think) and the wolf thingy (greymon?) was the best. The one after that wasn't bad, but they went down hill after season 1.

William watched the new visitors for a moment, and then returned to his dinner. One was a loud person, derived from either unintelligence or arrogance, and the other was shy, a trait possibly developed as a result of his companion's assertive behavior. They both looked powerful, but Will was not threataned. Haitel and his children were not pushovers in any sense of the word.

"So, what's the occassion boss?" Will asked as he entered the room behind Chrome. He had taken to calling Haitel 'boss' some years before, and the name seemed to stick regardless of what Haitel thought. He decided not to appologize for being late, being that EVERYONE else had appoligized before him. It was becoming redundant.

yes it's the video games that are the root of all evil! God forbid parents actually do some...y'know parenting?? When I walked into gamestop to by my copy of halo: reach (which I love!) and I saw him talk his mom into gettiing it for him. Now much as I loved how much he reminded me of myself there was one key difference. He was saying with excitement how he gets to stab other players in the back, punch them, bow them up, and all the cussing that goes on live. The store clerk even says "maam this game is really made for kids twice his age for the most part." the mom just nodded and GOT it. Had that been my mom and I was that age I wouldnt have gotten past stabbed in the back before she said "boy no way in hell" and yanked me away from it. Ugh, these parents will take any reason not to look at themselves for the problems in their children. ok. </rant> I think if a parent is this oblivious to the effect of a violent video game on their, they deserve to be kicked in the teeth. I mean seriously, is your kid SOOOOO annoying that the only way to shut him up for a few hours is a war based video game? I remember a comedian (I wish I remembered who) talking about how tv sensors foul language in shows, but still airs stuff like Rambo and UFC for kids to stumble upon. God forbid a kid learns a curse word, but its ok if he is exposed to shooting, killing, and fighting as a socialy-priased norm. As if the columbine or v-tech people discovered guns because televison stations said the f-bomb too many times. (I'm not saying that television stations should stop sensoring profanity, but their priorities might be a little off.) Off topic? Prehaps. You could blame the advertising companies for making their products appealing to children, but they're not the primary source. Parents have to realize the effects of what their child is exposed to.
