Preliminary finals round one: Cold as Steel, Hot as fire.

As Ian's solar flare hand lunged towards Jak, Jak grabbed the wrist.  Jak's hands pulled Ian's hand downward, followed by his shoulder and face.  Jak turned with the pull, bashing Ian's nose with his shoulder.  Jak let go of Ian's wrist as a blue ki parachute errupted from his back and he floated away from the free-falling Ian.  Jak formed a house-sized pannel under his feet and disolved the parachute.  "Dagger rain" Jak cried, slamming both of his palms into the panel.  Waves of knives formed from the panel and fell to the earth behind Ian, pacing with his free fall.  Ian's solar flare collided with the ground below, creating another crater in the dirt.  The  daggers followed behind, striking most of the battlefield the fighters had used and centered around Ian's new crater.
