lol Yeah, I'll do that, But I'll have to probably upload them in another folder (>_<) so far the only one that actually has been changed that I posted has been the one in Chinatown. So I'll just create a new folder with the edited pictures so that you can compare them.

http://cid-0e1535997c6464cb.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/The%20Backgrounds/The%20Backgrounds%20Retouched?uc=1

These are the retouched photos of some of the backgrounds (some of the others I just didnt bother with, since most of you guys didnt like them anyway  Undecided) I'm trying to get some new pics to upload, but at the moment, nothing really to take a photo of thats really noteworthy. Hopefully soon, though, I'll have something new to share :D

Really pretty. I love pictures of clouds and pretty landscapes. Will a little bit of touching up of the colorings and stuff these would be stunning.  Love

Not sure why but I like the Chinatown one. Sure its a bit too crowded for a photo but I just love the distorted bright colors.

these are a couple I took on my way home from school one day (note, they are NOT of the sky, as I was told to try more landscapes X_x):

And the retouching i did on them (I admit, the first one is way too bright):

That last one, I got a bit contrast-happy X_x

Both nice pics. As far as the touch ups, yea the 1st one is a lil bright, but the second one looks like it could be a Windows desktop background lol Thumbs-up (man I love these smileys)

I would recommend not shrinking them, for starters. Most cameras take pictures in unrealistically huge sizes.

Yea leave the huge-ness. It'll keep the picture sharper. From there you can jut crop parts of the pic to make it smaller rather than shrinking it.

oh no....thats the ENTIRE photo. I suppose, i could try to change the resolution size on my camera though (though it'll be a pain to have to constantly chance it back and forth from when i'm taking pics of landscapes and pics of people >_<. oh well, sacrifices, sacrifices XD)
BTW, I'm using a Sony Cybershot DSC-W220. not really the MOST ideal for such pictures, i know, but its really nice for what it is.

In my opinion the best types of cameras to use for landscapes photos are film, not digital. The Nikon FM10 is a pretty standard film camera for good shots. Not too expensive either.

Oh no, I KNOW that film cameras are better for landscapes and such. Its just, i dont have the funds to go out and buy ANOTHER camera, plus the cost of the film....so I just work with what I have to the best of my ability :/

A few retouches I liked (and a quick comparison so for the purpose of better feedback)

I know that everyone LOVED this photo, so it kind of pained me to go and retouch it, but in the end, this is how It ended up
Original:

Re-do (please dont kill me >_<):

And a few others

Here's the retouch of the Chinatown Photo (have to re-upload the untouched photo again >_<):

(this next one i liked except for the blur in the flower X_x):

I like it, cept the lighting came out a bit.....pink....<_<:

I'll soon to be taking more photos as soon as possible  Smiley and thanks you guys for all the encouragement. (I'll re-upload them so that they'll be in their max size like the first one.)
