duama they said the place their training in exist outside of space and time, so it really shouldn't matter how long they take.
and I agree demon, they kinda forgot all about em. I mean, we know they won but i'd still like to see the aftermath. not to mention we're closeing in on the bleach series and we still don't know jack sqaut about kenpachi's zanpaktou. nor his generals.

Oooooooo...that is true. So many episodes and nothin of the maniacal Kenny. Damn...lol well I must admit I have to commit at least a weekend purely to bleach to catch up on all the episodes I'm missing out on and reading the manga. I miss my old Otaku ways.

I thought it was a good way just to rap up the whole bleach thing... or at least im hoping they are rapping it up cause if they just come around with some illogical way for ichigo to get his powers back with out him actually being dead i think i might just loose interest all together on the whole thing.

duama's right, there are still a lot of loose ends. like what exactly is ichigo. aizen alluded to the fact that his birth was abnormal and something special, but his father cut him off before the truth could come out.
not to mention the fact that aizen still isn't dead yet, he could still pull somethin out of his ass at the end of all this. I still believe the series is wrapping up, just not as briefly as this last chapter makes it out to be. I see one last story arc in all of this.
on a side note, i'm still kinda ticked that we haven't seen what the little pink haired chick who sits on kenpachi's shoulder can do. i always had this feeling she was just gonna randomly kick someones ass somewhere down the road but it never happened.

I had to give up on bleach a little ways after Hitsugaya got really introduced (which is sad because I loved him). The series was getting to be too much like a very pretty Dragonball in the fact that they seem to continue to pull story arcs out of their asses with no real underlying goal.
Are they at least working towards something now?

I take this to mean that you are referring to the Bleach anime. This thread is more focussed on the Manga version of bleach, if that helps any. And to answer your question: The story is seemingly aimed towards a final arc to end the series. |

Nah, I switched to the manga after the anime disappointed me and didn't get much farther. If it's seeming to be going somewhere now though I may try to pick it back up again. I've been missing manga terrible because it's just too hard to find anything really treuly good out there anymore.
