Nah, I switched to the manga after the anime disappointed me and didn't get much farther. If it's seeming to be going somewhere now though I may try to pick it back up again. I've been missing manga terrible because it's just too hard to find anything really treuly good out there anymore.
your right, this also has alot to do with the fact that we're older now so we demand more out of a story vs cliche story telling sprinkled with sub-par action scenes. though, I will say that bleach is indeed worth finishing. gets pretty epic towards the end. as of right now the only thing I read is naruto, bleach, soul eater, and fairy tail. i'm finding the same problem you described in fairy tail-- the writer keeps pulling story arcs out his ass that don't go anywhere. but the characters are so great it keeps me reading.

My god, but bleach it's still goin on! Just when I thought it was over. Been a year in the story, every character seems to gone back to normal. Sure it seemed kinda unsatisfying for all of soul society to just leave him be but i couldve lived with it. Then the last page of the last chapter? BAM! "New story arc coming soon" jesus...

I think this is just a filler story arc before they hop back the last chapter of the main story and finish it. which I'm not really too dissappointed at, because usually the bleach filler arcs are pretty interesting. like when all their zankpakto's(sp?) took on their true forms and went rogue. filler arc, but very worth watching. they also always tell more about the characters and get into their back stories vs having a bunch of useless episodes that add nothing to the story *cough* NARUTO *COUGH COUGH*

I'm really liking how Ichigo is experiencing his fullbring along with the reader. That is to say, he still doesn't understand how it works just yet and is still trying to get the hang of things.

sooo...at first I thought Ichigo was being set up by these fullbring people, and that they were all really working with tsukishma the whole time. but after the last chapter, i'm thinking its more complicated than that, or the guy with the necklace sword is just really trying to sale this whole "i'm one of the good guys" thing to ichigo.
